Clifton Meeting To Ask For Public Input

Video will be available shortly.

A meeting tomorrow night will allow people living in Clifton and Fruitvale the chance to give input on what their communities should look like in the future.

The Mesa County Department of Planning and Economic Development will coordinate the meeting, which will examine the needs of people living in those communities.

24 agencies will be at the meeting to get public input on a wide variety of issues.

Mesa County Administrator Jon Peacock says, "It's not just about the hard infrastructure, although roads and parks and sidewalks and curbs and gutters and lighting are important...it's also about the services that are provided in an urban community, whether that be public safety, health social services, what types of social amenities are available."

The Open House is scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Clifton Community Center at 128 2nd street in Clifton.
