Democrats will break from tradition and head outside for the final night of the Democratic National Convention.

The Convention Committee has announced Barack Obama will accept his party's presidential nomination at Denver's Invesco field at Mile High.

The event will echo the 1960 Democratic National Convention when John f. Kennedy delivered his acceptance speech outdoors in the Los Angeles coliseum.

Invesco field is home to the Denver broncos and can accommodate 75-thousand people.

The Democratic National Convention begins August 25th.
