For the third time in as many days fire has struck a Grand Junction home, this time sending a resident to the hospital.
Grand Junction firefighters responded to 558 1/2 29 Road this afternoon after a resident called to say her house was on fire.
This is the same home where fires broke out Sunday and again Monday night.
When the fire department arrived today they found the resident of the home was trying to put the fire out with a hose. She suffered apparent smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators are looking at a variety of leads but are certain
the fires are not accidents.
Firefighters were able to halt the fire before it could get into the attic and spread. Investigators say they are looking for help from anyone who may have information. Call the Grand Junction Fire Department at 244–1400 if you can help.
