Health Department Issues Wildfire Related Warning

Due to the two wildfires burning on the Western Slope, The Mesa County Health Department has issued an air quality warning for people who have asthma or respiratory conditions.

Officials say you should limit your time outdoors and try not to travel in areas with a lot of smoke.

The Health Department says the wind should keep most of the smoke in higher elevations for tonight. But the wind could shift overnight, bringing the smoke back down into the Valley.
