The Cherry Creek School District has completed their investigation into comments a teacher made about President Bush.
Superintendent Dr. Monte Moses announced today that Jay Bennish will be reinstated as a teacher at Overland High School.
Bennish was on paid administrative leave after he had made comments in class showing similarities between statements made by President Bush and those made by Hitler.
Those comments fueled a debate on freedom of speech in the classroom.
The school district has been investigating whether or not Bennish complied with a district policy that requires teachers to present balanced subject matter when discussing political topics.
Bennish will be back in class teaching
