Woman Surrenders Baby In Fort Collins


A woman walks into a Fort Collins fire station to give birth to a baby and then surrenders it to firefighters. The pregnant woman went to Fire Station #2 yesterday morning wanting help with delivering her baby.
the mother delivered what appeared to be a healthy baby boy in the back of an ambulance parked in a firehouse bay.CAfter giving birth the woman told firefighters she wanted to surrender the child.
The woman didn't give a reason as to why, but under Colorado's instant Safe Haven Law a parent can surrender a newborn child to medical workers, a hospital or a fire station within 72 hours and face no criminal charges. The process is anonymous. The baby is at Poudre Valley Hospital and is reportedly doing well. Anyone interested in
