A diabetic woman becomes hypoglycemic while driving in Highway 6 and 50 Saturday.
Officers on the scene say the woman driver then became unaware of her surroundings, and drifted into the East bound lane where she continued to drive.
She ran five cars off the road. Some turned around to follow the woman, who eventually drove onto the shoulder, and ran into a tree.
Someone on the scene then gave the woman some sugary soda
to snap her out of the hypoglycemic state.
