Alzheimer's Association Information Seminar Tomorrow

The Alzheimer's Association Colorado chapter is hosting a free general information seminar tomorrow for people interested in learning more about the disease...and how to get help for those who have it.

Alzheimer's Disease robs patients of memory and has no known cause and no cure, and it's becoming more prevalent as baby boomers age.
Although many patients find care in assisted–living centers and nursing homes many others are cared for by family and friends. Tomorrows seminar will offer tips on spotting signs of Alzheimer's disease and other useful information.

Westerbn Slope Association Director Annie Smythe says, "We have a lot of good resource information at the program itself, as far as steps to getting a diagnosis, resource lists for doctors in the vicinity who do diagnosis and treatment, support groups, which are extremely important for families going through this."

The session will be held at Community Hospital in the lower level conference room from 10AM to noon. Community hospital is on 12th street north of Mesa State College.
