A Grand Junction woman accused of killing her boyfriend's child is in court today. Sarah Ann Beaudoin appeared before Judge Thomas Deister. She was advised of her rights and and decided to waive a preliminary hearing within 30 days. Beaudoin is accused of hitting 2–year–old Keaton Anderson on the head on January 26th, which led to his death two days later. Beaudoin says the youth was hit on the head by a toy train thrown by her son. In addition to bruises on his head an autopsy showed the boy also had torn retinas, which can be an indication that Keaton Anderson could only have died from intentional abuse.
