Closing Arguments To Begin Monday In Murder Trial

Now to an update on the first-degree murder trial of Hector Zambrano. The jury was released early for the weekend after both sides finished calling witnesses and presenting evidence in the case. Hector Zambrano is accused of strangling his wife Patricia Reyes at their home in the 28–hundred block of Elm Circle in April of 2004. The defense claims Zambrano was drunk at the time and reacted in a heat of passion after his wife told him she was moving back to Mexico and there was another man in the picture. The attorneys are preparing for closing arguments scheduled for first thing Monday morning.
