A new hobby shop and racetrack in Grand Junction has remote control car enthusiasts smiling. The High Desert Raceplace opened two weeks ago and with two race days on the biggest indoor track in Colorado a week, the track looks to not only accommodate RC drivers, but try to gain the interest of those not familiar with the hobby.
The track is looking to put on a big race in May that will attract racers from surrounding states and the track is also looking to facilitate birthday parties and business functions as well.
