Troopers are looking for the person who crashed a Chevy Tahoe through a Clifton Apartment complex Sunday night and then fled the scene.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. at 3244 Rood Court.
Colorado State Patrol says the SUV went right through one of units demolishing it. Two other apartments that are attached were also damaged. One has cracks in the wall, the other has a broken water line.
Troopers tell 11 News the Tahoe belongs to the apartment owner of the apartment it crashed through. Officials say however that the owner wasn't driving it because they are in Denver.
Authorities are now searching for the suspect involved in the hit and run. They say he is hispanic, 5'10"- 6'. Officials say he is bald with a scar on the back of his head and was last seen wearing baggy clothing with a light blue checkered shirt.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers 241-STOP.
