A non–profit Colorado group hosted a law symposium in Grand Junction Tuesday, updating residents on the state of the civil justice system in the Centennial state.
Dozens of Grand Valley residents came out for the symposium, sponsored by Colorado Citizens for Accountability. Participants were also shown an independent film, chronicling the Illinois Supreme Court race in 2004, which showed alleged incidents of corporate influence.
Colorado Citizens for Accountability is a non–profit organization that encourages Coloradans to educate themselves, so that the average citizen is on the same level playing field in the civil justice system as the powerful and influential.
