A teen who started fire that caused $50,000 worth of damage will face charges.
Authorities are charging the 16–year–old boy with second degree arson.
According to investigators, the teen used a lighter to ignite a piece of foam insulation on a flat bed trailer in the 500 Block of G Road.
The fire spread to the ground then consumed a shed and attached garage.
Officials met Monday to discuss the case and that's when they decided to charge the teen.
No one was injured in the fire.
