Denver (AP) The U.S. Justice Department and the Metro Gang Task Force say they've arrested 23 people suspected of distributing about 10,000 pills of Ecstasy per week in the Denver area.

A Grand Jury handed up a 109-count indictment against 27 people who were believed members of the “Asian Pride” gang. The arrests and confiscation of more than 10,000 tablets of the drug took place Wednesday. Two suspects were arrested in Sacramento, while four remain at large.

The indictments and arrests follow a 2 1/2 year investigation sparked by the April 15, 2006, slayings of Christopher Le, 22, and Quoc Phan, 27, in Aurora. That slaying remains unsolved.
