El Paso, Texas (AP) An army soldier who had been reported missing and in danger has been released from a hospital at Fort Bliss, Texas.

A relative says Jeneesa Lewis told her she'd been beaten and stabbed. Lewis' grandmother says the soldier reported that her husband abducted her from El Paso apartment last week and took her to Nevada. The 29-year-old mother of three had been planning to leave her husband.

A hospital spokeswoman confims that Lewis was treated late last night at the post's hospital and later released. She did not release information on the nature of the injuries.

The soldier's husband, Clinton Lewis, has been jailed on an aggravated kidnapping charge. He's being held on $75,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow.
