Mesa County Fair Starts Today

By  |

Crews and vendors are busy putting the finishing touches on rides and booths for the fair. Vendors say gas prices have made it more expensive to do business, but they're hoping the high prices will bring more people to the fair.

The line–up for the six day event includes fireworks, bull riding, and the hit band "One Republic," known for their billboard topper "Apologize.”

The gate fee is $5.00 per person and $1.00 for children. There are separate tickets you need to buy for the concert, bull riding, and the demolition derby.
