This week's Grand Valley Power Student of the Week is an exceptional mathematician who plans to be an engineer. Fruita Monument High school senior Samantha Taylor says she's always had a passion for math. She plans to take her talent of crunching numbers to the next level. Samantha plans to attend CU Boulder in the fall and major in engineering. Samantha also loves to act. She's been in several productions at Fruita Monument including "The Stage Door" and "Romeo and Juliet". Recently she even learned to sing so that she could start acting in musicals. Samantha is the drama club and the math club.
