The vehicle registered to a man involved in a nine- hour standoff over the weekend is used in a high-speed police chase Wednesday, .but there's still no word who was driving.
The chase began near 27 Rd. on Orchard Mesa and ended in downtown Grand Junction across from the Federal Building. Troopers on-scene say the blue Cadillac is registered to 51–year–old Norman Grady, who was involved in a nine–hour police standoff on Sunday.
One problem, Grady is in jail and it is unknown who was driving the vehicle.
State Patrol Troopers say the Cadillac was clocked near 80 MPH during the pursuit, but the driver disappeared on foot after dumping the vehicle in a parking lot on Rood Ave.
