Outdoor enthusiasts got hot deals on outdoor gear while doing a good deed for local charities.
Manufacturers of outdoor equipment joined together with the Elks Lodge to raise money for local charities.
Mountain sprouts, a local outdoor clothing company for kids, hosted the fundraiser and invited several outdoor equipment vendors to come sell their gear.
Everything from bicycles and shoes, to clothing and kayaks were for sale. The Elks Lodge lent their parking lot because they felt it was important to get involved in the fundraiser.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Colorado Discover Ability, which is an adaptive outdoor recreation program for kids with disabilities, and KAFM 88.1 Grand Valley's community radio.
