Another Ten-Most Wanted Captured In Orchard Mesa

Another of Grand Junction's ten most–wanted fugitives is captured this afternoon after a short foot chase.

Grand Junction police officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant on 19–year–old Richard Parsons for failure to appear, distributing, manufacturing and possessing a controlled substance, and possession of an illegal weapon. Parsons fled his home at 334 Sherman Drive on Orchard Mesa when approached by officers. He was caught at the corner of Sherman Drive and Fischer Avenue after a short foot chase.
Police spokesperson Linda Bowman says Parsons may face additional charges pending further investigation. He is currently being held at the Mesa County Detention Center.
