Local law enforcement is hoping the human remains found in Utah could be linked to a number of local missing person cases.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says it is hoping the DNA from the remains match any of its eleven suspicous missing person cases.
Grand County, Utah investigators say the next step will be to conduct carbon dating on the skull to find out how old it is.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is reminding the public, it is illegal to tamper with or move human remains.
It asks that you contact proper authorities and let them handle it.
