The collapse in Minnesota brought immediate calls for repairs to bridges across the nation and a new study about the conditions of the roads across the America shows that there is still a lot of work to do.
In the study Colorado ranked 31st overall in overall performance and cost-effectiveness. 12.99% of our state's bridges are either deemed structurally deficient or functionally obsolete.
In February of this year Grand Junction reported that all of the bridges in our area had been inspected for repairs.
According to the study, 24.1% of bridges across the country are in poor condition .and at the current rate of repair it will take 62 years for all of the nation's bridges to be brought up to date
