Kiwanis Club flips pancakes to fundraise for kids

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The Kiwanis club is flipping pancakes as a fundraiser to help kids in our community.
The 47th Annual Pancake Day and Silent Auction took place at the Two Rivers Convention Center Friday. The all you can eat breakfast benefit is the Kiwanis Club's biggest charitable event, raising money for over 25 non-profits in the Grand Valley. A pancake eating contest kicked off the day.
The Kiwanis Club is a service club set out to benefit children. Anyone who is interested in joining can attend a meeting. Their website is linked to this story for more information.
