A young boy died Thursday after being run–over by an SUV. The tragic accident happened a little after noon in the A&W Trailer Park off North Avenue. The one–year–old's babysitter has been charged with the death. Investigators say 23–year–old Lucero Sausedo Morales was driving an SUV with the child in it. The boy was not in a car seat and police believe the he got out of the car and ran behind it as Morales was backing up. Morales was arrested for criminally negligent homicide for failing to have the child restrained. Police believe drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the one–year–olds death.
