On 11 News Today we interviewed Megan Sears about the Fruita Fall Festival. She went over what you can expect and how to register for the annual contest.
The Fruita Fall Festival runs from September 26th through the 28th. This year's theme is "Cowboy Up in Fruita."
It is a free event where nearly 170 vendors will sell their arts, crafts and foods to a crowd of 30,000-plus. The weekend is filled with events including a youth pet and talent show, a parade, the famous bed race, a baking and canning contest and Art in the Park.

Shuttle service will be provided by Williams Production from the Dinosaur Museum, 550 Jurassic Court by Exit 19 and Hwy 340, to the festival venue.
This year the Alpine Bank Fruita Fall Festival is a part of the Grand Valley Fall Spectacular! Other events that weekend include the Grand Junction Air Show, the Fuoco Motor Company Grand Junction Car Show and Color Sunday.
