This week Crime Stoppers is requesting information that will lead to the identification and arrests of the unknown suspects involved in leaving suspicious items behind in parks to endanger kids.
Recently, there have been reports of dangerous objects being placed near or on the playground equipment in our parks. Law enforcement and park employees have heightened their awareness and have increased patrol or the parks, but they cannot do it alone. Officials advice the public to be extra aware when using the parks and if you encounter such an item, leave it where it is and call 911 immediately. If you know the identity or location of the subjects involved in these crimes, please call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867.
