A routine traffic stop, turned out to be a little more than that Friday morning.

The mesa county sheriff pulled over the driver of a pick up truck into the Texas Road House Restaurant parking lot.

Police will not tell us the original reason the driver was pulled over, but they did arrest the 34 year old driver on felony charges after finding marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle.

We won’t know the exact amount of the drugs until they are weighed.
