Riders and ropers brought their horses out to loma Saturday, for a good cause. The Fourth Annual Rope a Cure included a barbeque, an auction, and of course, a roping competition.
The event was held to raise money for Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
The roping contest has collected nearly thirty thousand dollars in the last few years, and organizers say it's because of the generosity of everyone that this event does so well.
St Jude's is a children's research hospital that works entirely off of donations. The facility in Memphis, Tennessee costs nearly one million dollars a day to remain open.
