The dream of being a movie star may become a reality for some talented Grand Junction residents.
Local filmmaker Joe Hoskins has decided to produce a western based on the history of Grand Junction,
and the goal is to have much of the cast be local talent. Saturday and Sunday,
auditions were held at Impact Boxing in Grand Junction,
to fill the more than 60 speaking roles.
When "Grand Junction The Movie" is complete, Hoskins plans to have a red carpet premiere at one of the local theaters
and the producers also plan to enter the picture into independent film festivals.
