Woman Pleads Not Guilty to Handcuffing and Beating Boy

A woman accused of severely beating the two teenage children of her live–in boyfriend has pleaded not guilty.

11 News is not to releasing the names of the suspects in order to protect the young victims in this case.

The woman and her boyfriend are accused of handcuffing his 16–year–old son to a banister and beating him with a leather belt. The couple also reportedly starved the boy and abused his younger sister.

The woman's trial will begin in January.

Her boyfriend pleaded guilty in July. He'll be sentenced this month and faces up to 16–years in prison.
