The man accused of beating his stepson to death decided not testify in court Tuesday, this as both the defense and prosecution rested.
Closing arguments in the first degree murder case against Brandon Moore are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
In court on Tuesday, the jury watch a taped interview with Moore just shortly after two year old Logan Acord died. In the video Moore denied abusing the boy and said he hit his head on the bath tub.
If convicted of first degree murder, Moore faces life in prison without parole.
The defense is asking for a reduced charge of criminally negligent homicide which carries a maximum sentence of up to six years in prison.
