Police Release Sketch of Sexual Assault Suspect

The Grand Junction Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a sexual assault suspect. They've released a sketch of the suspect and hope the community can help identify him.

Last Friday, August 8th, the Police Department received a report of a sexual assault that took place around 1:30 in the morning in the northeast part of the city.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has shaggy, brown hair with a goatee, and an olive complexion. He was last seen wearing a dark t-shirt with writing on it, and jeans.

Anybody with information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP (241-7867.)
