Police arrested the father of an 11 month old boy who died after being electrocuted.

Investigators say the boy grabbed a clock with exposed wires. Greeley police say they arrested Ernesto Talavera-Nunez Wednesday night after officers found inconsistencies in his statements about the incident.

The 23-year-old is being held on suspicion of felony child abuse resulting in the death of his son Tuesday.

Talavera-Nunez was being held at the weld county jail on $15,000 bond. Police say immigration and customs enforcement officials are reviewing whether he is in the country legally.
