Inventors, entrepreneurs and even Grand Junction's Mayor met Thursday night to celebrate the first annual entrepreneurship day. The Business Incubator Center along with Mesa State College's Entrepreneurial Business Institute, hosted the event. The center is a non-profit group providing new business owners with free consulting, business loans, and support.

The event was held to recognize graduates from the Incubator. Wes D'Aponti, a graduate from the Business Incubator in 1996, was awarded the Ken Nesbitt award for his ethical business sense and commitment to employees and the community.
