Congressman John Salazar stopped by Palisade this morning to help dedicate a new skate park.
The Palisade Skate Park located in Palisade Park, was built so that kids could have a safe place to skateboard and roller-blade. The park cost nine thousand dollars to build. The youth of Palisade played a big role in getting the park open; they helped with the construction and design of the park, and even helped to raise money. The park features two six–foot half pipes, two rollovers and a spine.
