A man accused of shooting at local law enforcement during a manhunt late last year is in court Monday afternoon.
Samuel Lincoln appeared for a preliminary hearing at the Mesa County Justice Center.
Lincoln faces two charges of attempted murder after deliberation
along with vehicular eluding. The suspect also faces two counts of first degree assault against a peace officer.
Lincoln allegedly fired shots at a Mesa County Sheriff Deputy vehicle while attempting to evade authorities.
Lincoln was wanted for allegedly shooting a man in the desert North of Grand Junction and after an intense manhunt was arrested in Glenwood Springs.
