A sex offender is back behind bars, police say he moved without telling them.
Rick Studer was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in Mesa County.
Studer was convicted in Wyoming of second degree sexual assault and two counts of indecent acts on a minor, all felony counts. He's also been convicted of failing to register before. In fact, Wyoming court documents deem him a "high" risk to reoffend and states there should be community notification to all neighbors living within 750 feet of him.
Studer was arrested at 3247 F Road. Police say he was living in a field there.
