MESA COUNTY, Colo. It’s still summer, but that doesn't mean it’s too early to be thinking about hitting the slopes.
Friday, Powderhorn Mountain Resort is announcing the launch of season pass sales; along with new learn to ski and ride products.
This year Powderhorn’s learn to ski and ride program has been changed to accommodate a wide variety of ages. For $149, any skier from ages five years old and up, will be allowed to take three full day lessons, including lift ticket and equipment rental, during any three days throughout the season.
When the participant completes the program they’ll be awarded a Graduate Card that allows 50% off any future group lessons, lift tickets and equipment rental for the remainder of the season. The same program is offered to snowboarders, but the starting age is seven years old and up for snowboard lessons.
