GM of Crossroads Fitness Center Dies After Falling Off Bike

A man who fell off his bike Sunday while riding on DS Road in Glade Park has died.

The man has been identified as 56-year-old Neil Bradford of Fruita. Bradford was the general manager at Crossroads Fitness Center.

St. Mary's CareFlight was called in to take Bradford to the hospital where he later died. The Mesa County Coroner's office says the manner of death is head injury and the cause is accident.

According to officials with the Grand Junction Fire Department, Bradford suffered a head injury when the bike he was riding rubbed tires with his friend's bike and he fell. Bradford was wearing a helmet.

No one else was injured.
