A landmark building in Grand Junction will soon be demolished. The owners of the White Hall building on the corner of 6th Street and White Avenue say the building is not cost–effective and will be torn down with a new structure put in its place. Many of the offices are unoccupied and the owners of White Hall say it's hard to entice tenants.
They say the condition of the building is not conducive to businesses looking for office space and the combination of few tenants and extreme property taxes is making it hard for the owners to make ends meet. Tenants have been given notice asking them to vacate by August 31st.
