FAA Communication Failure Delays Flights Across Country, Not Affecting Grand Junction

The Federal Aviation Administration says a communication failure at a Georgia facility that processes flight plans for the eastern half of the U.S. is causing flight delays around the country. Officials at Grand Junction Regional Airport and Denver International Airport say it is not affecting them.

Some airports are experiencing delays, but the FAA says the malfunction poses no safety issues and officials are still able to speak with pilots.
