It was no ordinary game of bingo as teachers from around the Grand Valley gathered for a special brunch Saturday morning at the Mesa Mall where they learned just much they're appreciated.
The mall hosted a poetry contest where students had the opportunity to submit some poetry about their favorite teacher. Students whose poetry was selected received a twenty-five dollar Mesa Mall gift card. Nine teachers, three from each grade category, received a 250 dollar certificate to help out with teaching supplies.
After the breakfast was served the teachers got to play bingo and listen to some of the poems that were written about them.
