An off highway vehicle accident near Fruita is being investigated by the Colorado State Patrol. Saturday night just after 8:00 p.m. emergency crews responded to 20 1/2 Road and I Road on a report of person who fell off an ATV. When personnel with the Lower Valley Fire Department arrived on scene they found a 13-year-ld girl unconscious. She was transported to St. Mary's Hospital where according to the Colorado State Patrol she's listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit. Authorities have not released the girl's identity or details about the accident as the investigation is ongoing.
