Motorcyclist Injured in Crash

A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after crashing into a car.

The accident happened just after 11:30 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of 30 and F Roads.

Police say the car made a left hand turn in front of the motorcyclist causing him to hit the car. The impact caused the motorcycle to erupt into flames. The cyclist was launched around 40 to 50 feet off his bike.

The crash closed the busy intersection for more than three hours.

The driver of the car was not injured and the crash is still under investigation.

Police are now waiting for toxicology reports.

No word on the motorcyclists condition.
