Robbery Suspects Face More Charges

Three men accused of using pepper spray to rob an Orchard Mesa hobby shop Friday are also facing charges for the alleged thefts at two other Grand Junction businesses. 20-year-old Jerry Peters, 19-year-old Justin Criswell, and 19-year-old Carlos Ramirez were arrested Friday after Grand Junction police spotted and pulled over their vehicle along Highway 340 near Mayfield Drive. The car matched the description of a car leaving the scene of a robbery at Norm's RC Hobbies earlier that afternoon. During the investigation of the hobby shop, robbery police reports show it was determined the men are also suspected of stealing from Hastings Books, Music, and Video as well as GJ Scores bowling alley. All three men are facing robbery and assault charges for the alleged incident at Norm's RC Hobbies. The three are also facing further charges stemming from the alleged burglary and theft incidents at both Hastings and GJ Scores.
