Local legislators gathered Wednesday at the proposed site of the Orchard Mesa High School to raise support for funding for several new schools.
Senator Josh Penry and Representative Steve King say they support the $185 million bond and $6 million Mil Levy override that will be listed on the November ballot as 3A and 3B. The bond would cover the cost of building two new high schools and two new elementary schools.
Penry and King say the bond issue is a great investment in our future.
