Denver (AP) The Denver coroner says a prosecutor who was killed outside his home last month died of a gunshot wound to his head.
The coroner said Thursday that Adams County Deputy District Attorney Sean may was also shot in the left side of his abdomen, and that his death was a homicide.
No one has been arrested, and police have not said whether may was killed because of his work.
The 37-year-old may worked in neighboring Adams County but lived in Denver. His wife, Corin, is pregnant with their first child.
He was killed Aug. 27. Police say the assailant was probably lying in wait for him.
