District Attorney's from across Colorado meet in Grand Junction to discuss current issues in law. The Colorado District Attorney's Council meeting today includes discussion on a wide variety of issues, including new laws passed by the state legislature. The meetings also allow members to discuss cases they are trying in their districts, as well as personnel issues and other topics of interest.
The CDAC also presents law-related issues to the State Legislature for consideration and maintains communication between District Attorneys and others around the state.
The CDAC normally meets in Denver or the front range. This is the first time Grand Junction has hosted the meeting.
