Break dancers and rap artists gathered at central high school Saturday afternoon for the 2nd annual Youth Leadership Hip Hop Conference.
Youth from across the Grand Valley were invited to the conference to not only learn how to appreciate the hip hop culture, but to find a positive alternative to participating in destructive behavior.
The youth leadership organization also hosts the annual Skilz Fest held at Mesa State College and some of the performers for Saturday's event traveled from Denver and Salt Lake city to part in the conference.
